(from Michael) This book is a strange mixture of short stories, inspirational coaching, business advice and techie how-to's. Most of the participating authors are identified as bestselling authors, but I've heard of just a few of them. J. K. Rowling and Stephen King did not participate.

There are many books of this type where an author acts as a packager and gathers chapters from other authors (the chapters may have been published elsewhere) and develops a title and a cover. The participating authors probably don't get any money, but hope the publicity helps them to sell books. With this book, the fact that someone wrote a bestseller does not mean that he or she is an expert at the publishing process.

There is a strange disclaimer in the front of the book: "This is a work of fiction." That does not inspire confidence in the included advice, but does apply to the silly and superfluous Santa Claus story. Actually, much of the book is superfluous, and repetitious.

There is a wide disparity between the paperback and e-book prices. The book is definitely worth 99 cents. I'm not sure if it's worth $9.99 or $11.50. It can't hurt to invest 99 cents. You'll probably learn something and might be entertained.
