If you want to make, market and sell ebooks and do it all for free, then this is a must read and the one source for everything it takes to succeed at this.

(from Michael) When I read: "at this point you might be asking how I could afford this? I couldn't really. I was using up all the money I ever made as a house painting contractor, plus I took out a second mortgage on my house to borrow up to $100,000 so I could continue blowing it on bad marketing ideas. I naively used credit to market my book," my immediate reaction was that the author is a pathetic fool who can't possibly have anything worthwhile to say.

     SURPRISE: He does.

When he had no money left to burn, Jason Matthews figured out how to publish for free (or very close to free). This book is filled with excellent ideas and information that will benefit most authors, whether they are billionaires or paupers.

Of course I don't agree with everything Jason has to say (or everything that anyone has to say) such as using public domain images or amateur photos on the cover, or long, ugly, free web addresses. But he says enough that's worth emulating that I recommend this book highly. I will take advantage of some of Jason's recommendations. You should, too.

By the way, not only did Jason learn from his errors and do extensive research to avoid repeating the errors, he is a good writer.
